This film feautures the indian actor Dev Patel who plays the role of slumdogg on the succesful path of becoming a millionaire. Slumdog Millionaire was and still is one of the most succesul films directed by such short funds. The film grossed 6.1 million in its first eleven days of the UK. During that part of the movie the director includes high angle shots to make the two boys look almighty and powerful as if to indicate even though they are young there ambition and action overtakes their size to the etent they get up to a number of adventures.
