Slumdogg Millionaire

Slumdogg Millionaire the wonderful film produced by the one and only Christion Colson aswell as direted by Danny boyle. This film feautures the indian actor Dev Patel who plays the role of slumdogg on the succesful path of becoming a millionaire. Slumdog Millionaire was and still is one of the most succesul films directed by such short funds. The film grossed 6.1 million in its first eleven days of the UK. Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British romantic dramafilm directed by Danny Boyle, written by Simon Beaufoy, and co-directed in India by Loveleen Tandan.

How was it distrubuted: Slumdogg Millionaire is an adaptation of the novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. It was Set and filmed in India, the film tells the story of Jamal Malik, a young man from the Juhu slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?The film is based on the best selling novel 'Q and A' by Indian diplomat Vikas Swarup. It was adapted for the movie by British screenwriter Simon Beaufoy.

The film proved succesful as they were elected for a number of awards aswell as winning them. The film's success at the Academy Awards led to it seeing large increases in takings elsewhere in Europe the following week.The film is mixed with comedy and drama it relates to the difficult lives people in India live but also represents how knowledge can overcome poverty. The movie represents hope and relates to realistic nature. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are as much the heart and soul of Slumdog as that expression has ever represented, and the film’s brilliance is intertwined with their own. At its core, Slumdog isn’t about poverty or getting rich. It’s about romance. Jamal Malik isn’t motivated by money.




Even though the young child jamal is surrounded by poverty and a poor surroundings him and his brother never fail to get up to mischief and adventures in the film. The following link shows jamal in quite an adventerous part of the movie.

During that part of the movie the director includes high angle shots to make the two boys look almighty and powerful as if to indicate even though they are young there ambition and action overtakes their size to the etent they get up to a number of adventures.
